Such an oak has rings as dense as the story your grandfather tells you before winter—old, warm, and never fully told. And it is precisely that densest grain, shaped by nature with patience and resilience, that becomes the foundation of this barrel.

We use only split staves that have been dried by wind, rain, sun, and snow—for a full 5 years, without any intervention. It’s not luxury; it’s a necessity. It is an agreement with nature to rush nothing. That’s why only 100 to 200 pieces are made each year. No more can be made. And it shouldn’t be.

Its purpose is clear: to support the best you have ever produced. It is not used every year. Only when the vintage deserves it. Only when you know you’re not making wine—but capturing a moment in time. Brandy is not distilled in it—it is remembered.
